The castle displays wood and stone carvings, heraldry, and gargoyles, adding to its Gothic elegance and chivalric past.
Dining at the castle hotel is an experience to treasure. The Oak Restaurant is a Michelin-star restaurant that offers exemplary service and exquisite dining. Originally built as a Georgian mansion, the Adare Manor was later transformed into a glorious Gothic Revival castle, complete with gargoyles, decorative carvings, ornate chimneys, towers, stone pillars, and more. The Gothic grandeur of the castle are added with luxurious contemporary updates in the rooms and interiors.

The Oak Room
The Oak Room is the first Michelin Star restaurant in Limerick. Set in a handsome oak-panelled room, the restaurant offers an elegant but relaxed dining experience. Headed by Chef Michael Tweedie, the restaurant serves elegant seasonal menus using exceptional Irish ingredients such as farmed meats and game, fine seafood, foraged plants and herbs, and local vegetables.
