Originally built as a Georgian mansion, the Adare Manor was later transformed into a glorious Gothic Revival castle, complete with gargoyles, decorative carvings, ornate chimneys, towers, stone pillars, and more. Built in 1210, King’s John Castle remains one of the most iconic landmarks in Limerick.
